Market Catering is a full service off premise
catering firm that has been serving the Whistler area since
1995. The professional catering facilities are located at
1370 Alpha Lake Road, Function Junction. Sue and Bob Adams,
principals of Market Catering have owned and operated restaurants
in Vancouver, B.C. since 1980. Sue was a founding partner
of Culinary Capers, the leading corporate catering company
in Vancouver. Bob and Sue are committed to service excellence
in all their operations. Their strong interest in food and
wine has guided their business passions for three decades.
The Grocery Store in Whistler has been under their ownership
and direction since 1988, winning Canadian Independent Grocer
of the Year in 1994 and the Platinum award for excellence
in 2001. The Whistler Chamber of Commerce awarded Bob and
Sue the 2001 Businesspersons of the year for their leadership
in the business community and commitment to their employees
and customers.
A committed management and professional
staff oversee the corporate and private events that Whistler
residents and guests recognize with acclaim. Whistler is a
wonderful community and international tourist destination

Michelle has been the Sales and Event Manager
with Market Catering for the past three years. Managing people,
systems and logistics, along with exceptional customer service
are Michelle’s outstanding assets. Before transferring
to the catering division of Bevendale Enterprises, Michelle
held the highly paced and demanding position of Front-end
Manager at The Grocery Store in the heart of Whistler Village.
Michelle’s experience working at Araxi, Whistler’s
International award winning restaurant, added to her commitment
to fine service and her interest in the gourmet food industry.
STEFAN
PIMENTA
Head Chef
Head Chef, Stefan Pimenta is a graduate
of the Dubrulle International Culinary and Hotel Institute
of Canada and took his apprenticeship with Chef Herve Martin
at the Hermitage Restaurant. Stefan’s experience in
the culinary field includes fine dining as well as managing
commissary, large reception and banquet teams and facilities.
Stefan left a position with Umberto Menghi’s Circolo
restaurant to head up the culinary team at Market Catering.
Stefan leads a young and enthusiastic team creating delicious
food that reflects the current international trends and the
freshest and most interesting products available in today’s
marketplace.
BRODY MOSLIN
Pastry Chef
Brody Moslin is a graduate of Vancouver
Community College Culinary Arts program as well as graduating
from VCC Bakery and Pastry Arts program with highest honors.
Brody has worked in the Vancouver area since 2000 and joined
Market Catering in 2003. Brody’s Chocolate sculptures
have been the centerpiece for private functions as well as
major corporate events including the Telus Winter Classic
at the top of Whistler Mountain. Brody’s passion and
creativity for excellence is evident in exquisite dessert
offerings from Market Catering.
