Arranging the function

  • Our menu selections are dependent on freshness and market availability. There may be times when substitutions are necessary.
  • Delivery within Whistler is $15.00. You may also pick up your catered fare at our commercial kitchen in Function Junction.
  • We can provide professional servers, bartenders and chefs to staff your event.
  • We can assist in setting out your beverage requirements. We can pick up and deliver your liquor (25% service charge is added to the purchase price)
  • The quoted prices do not include G.S.T. or gratuity (15% on serviced events).
  • Our professional catering consultants can assist in planning your event and aim to save time, money and stress.

Prices


Menu prices may change from time to time and are meant only as a guideline. Menu prices do not include G.S.T. or gratuity.Prices are confirmed when the menu is confirmed with our sales manager. All prices on the written quote will be honored.


Payments and Deposits

A 50% deposit is required to confirm all catering unless prior arrangements have been made with our credit department. Full payment is due on completion of the event. Market Catering accepts all major credit cards. Corporate accounts may be arranged through our accounting office. Interest of 2% per month is charged on overdue accounts.


Guarantees and Minimums

We ask that you give us an estimated attendance when placing your order and update us if it changes. Your final count is required 3 business days before the event. Cancellations are not accepted after 48 hours before the event and the full contract price will be charged. Market Catering may require guaranteed minimums on some menus. Extra charges might apply for late menu additions or special requests.


Cancellations

Events cancelled less than 5 business days in advance of the scheduled date may be subject to 25% cancellation fee. Cancellations are not accepted after 48 hours before the event and the full contract price will be charged.


Food safety and leftover food


All Market Catering staff are fully trained and certified in Food Safe standards. Government Health and Safety regulations specify the length of time food can be left sitting un-refrigerated. To meet safety regulations there maybe times when leftover food cannot be released and we trust that you understand. While all food served by Market Catering must be approved, purchased and prepared by our staff, we would be pleased to use your special or family recipes for your event.
